Managing Teacher Seats and Roles

How to invite teachers, assign roles, and understand what each role can and cannot do inside your school workspace.

E-Porikkha supports multi-teacher workspaces. Every teacher gets their own login; papers they upload and grade are attributed to them in the audit trail.

Roles

Owner — full access including billing, school settings, and deleting the workspace. Only one owner per school.

Admin — can invite and remove teachers, create and delete batches, and view all papers. Cannot access billing.

Teacher — can create batches, upload and grade papers in batches they own or are assigned to. Cannot manage other users.

Inviting a teacher

Go to Settings → Staff Management → Invite Teacher. Enter their email address and select a role. They'll receive a branded invitation email with a one-click setup link. If they already have an E-Porikkha account under that email, they'll be added to your school without needing to create a new account.

There is no seat limit — invite as many teachers as your school needs.

Removing a teacher

Go to Settings → Staff Management and click Remove next to the teacher's name. Their account continues to exist; they simply lose access to your school's workspace. Any papers they graded remain in your school's records.

Switching schools

A teacher can be a member of multiple schools (e.g., they teach at two institutions). They switch between workspaces using the school switcher at the bottom of the sidebar. Each workspace is fully isolated — batches, papers, and billing do not cross over.
